Coach Lloyd Spotted Wolf begins his second season at Bacone College in 2010, his sophomore campaign as a collegiate head coach and his 14th season coaching overall. He was hired as Bacone College’s third head coach since the school restarted the football program in 2001. Coach Spotted Wolf brings an impressive list of credentials to the Warriors football program, and his goal is clear: build a program that will win the Central States Football Conference Championship and make the NAIA national play-offs for the first time in school history. He is driven to blaze new trails for Bacone College, Warrior Football, and the Native American athletic community across the nation.
Coach Spotted Wolf comes to Muskogee after three seasons at Blinn Junior College in Brenham, TX. Spotted Wolf joined the Blinn staff in 2006, heading up the offensive line for the National Championship team. During this historic season, Spotted Wolf’s Offensive Line opened up the rushing lanes for RB Bernard Scott to lead the nation in rushing with 1699 yards. In addition to the National Championship, the Buccaneers also won 2 SWJCFC Championships and played in 2 bowl games, The Pilgrim’s Pride Bowl, and the C.H.A.M.P.S. Heart of Texas Bowl.
He was promoted to offensive coordinator in 2007… and what an explosive offensive season it was. In 2007, the Bucs offense improved from 11th in the nation in Total Offense in 2006 to 4th in the nation in ’07, amassing 4331yds and averaging 34.5 points/game. In Coach Spotted Wolf’s rookie season as a coordinator, the offense finished 2nd in the nation in passing offense, totaling 2,463 yards and 22 TDs through the air. There was still some balance, as the Blinn offense also had 24 rushing TDs and nearly 1,900 yards on the ground. QB Terrence Cain set the all-time NJCAA record for completion percentage, 71.1%.
His experience spans the football landscape, having coached in NCAA Division I, II and III, JUCO and high school. Before joining the Buccaneer staff, Spotted Wolf was the Assistant Head Coach/Offensive Line Coach at NCAA D-II Oklahoma Panhandle State University. In addition to his football duties, he was also the Recruiting Coordinator, and a health, physical education and recreation instructor.
Spotted Wolf is no stranger to championship-caliber football. For the 2003-2004 seasons, Spotted Wolf returned to his high school alma mater, La Cueva High School in Albuquerque, N.M. as an assistant, during which time the Bears won back-to-back 5A state football championships, amassing a 26-0 record. He was also a full-time English teacher.
Spotted Wolf was the offensive line coach/special teams coordinator for NCAA D-III University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, which won the WIAC championship in 2001. He was also an assistant men’s and women’s track and field coach, and a kinesiology lecturer.
Spotted Wolf spent three years on Rocky Long’s staff at the University of New Mexico (Division IA), working with the offensive line, specialists, and academics. He worked with two Hula Bowl selections (place kicker and deep snapper) who both continued on to the NFL, as well as two all-conference linemen and two linemen who eventually went on to the NFL.
Coach Spotted Wolf has coached 37 collegiate All-Conference players, and 5 All-Americans over his 13-year career, including 16 All-CSFL selections in his one season at Bacone. He has also coached at NCAA D-II Adams State College, Del Norte (Colo.) High School and Zuni (N.M.) High School.
He graduated from Adams State College with a double major in English and exercise physiology, and attained his master’s degree in sports administration from the University of New Mexico. He was a four-year letterman and three-year starter on the offensive line for the NCAA D-II Grizzlies, being named Academic-All Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference.
Spotted Wolf, a member of the Hidatsa Tribe, with Seminole and Creek blood as well, is also a member of the American Football Coaches Association.
He is married to the former Ashley Klausmeyer.

Trevor Rubly comes to Bacone from the coaching staff at the University of Missouri. During his time at Mizzou, Rubly worked the Tigers' defensive line and linebackers. he was a part of the 2008 season that saw Missouri play in the Big XII Championship and the Alamo Bowl, and the 2009 campaign that ended with an appearance in the Texas Bowl.
Prior to Mizzou, Rubly coached at Cisco (TX) J.C. from 2005-2007, working the opposite sideline from Coach Spotted Wolf in his final two seasons. In his three years at Cisco, Rubly served as the wide receiver's coach, the secondary coach, and the Defensive Coordinator. Rubly has also coached at Warrensburg (MO) H.S.
Coach Rubly will be finishing his Master's degree in Education, School and Counseling Psychology from Missouri in March, and attained his undergraduate degree in Exercise Science from Central Missouri State, where he played Strong Safety for the D-II powerhouse.
His wife, Casey, is an elementary school teacher.

Coach Read comes to Bacone College after two seasons as the Passing Game Coordinator/Wide Receivers' Coach at Austin College in Sherman, TX. At A.C., the Roos' offense improved from 9th in the conference in pass efficiency before Coach Read's arrival to 3rd. Coach Read coached 3 All-Conference receiver's at Austin College, where they also had the #1 rushing attack in the SCAC in 2008 and 2009.
Coach Read served three years at the University of Arkansas on the Razorbacks' Football Strength & Conditioning staff, training and developing NFL-caliber talent such as Darren McFadden, Felix Jones, Jamal Anderson, and Marcus Harrison. During his time in Fayetteville, the Hogs went 18-8, winning the SEC-West Championship, playing in the SEC title game, and appearing in the 2006 Capital One Bowl and the 2007 Cotton Bowl.
Coach Read also spent the 2005 season as the Wide Receivers' Coach at Blinn (TX) College, coaching 2 All-SWJCFC receivers on the #1 Offense in the conference that season.
The Katy, TX native is a graduate of Texas Tech University, and spent several years in the business world before finding his true calling in athletics.
His father, Randy, and sister, Meredith Harris, still reside in Katy.

Germany Thompson returns for his second season on the Warriors coaching staff. "Coach G", as he is affectionately known to his players, brings big time experience and knowledge to the Warriors' program, as he won a Super Bowl ring in 2000 as a member of the NFL World Champion Baltimore Ravens.
Coach Thompson and Coach Spotted Wolf first crossed paths at the University of New Mexico, where Germany Thompson was among the WAC and Mountain West conference leaders in receiving. At UNM, Thompson was a part of the Lobos' 1997 WAC Championship team, as well as being a 2-year starter, 2-time Honorable mention All-Conference, and a 2-time Offensive Player of the Week.
Thompson graduated from Carolina H.S. in Greenville, SC.

Coach Daniels begins his second season on the Bacone College coaching staff. This year, Coach Daniels will be mentoring the Defensive line. In 2009, he served as the Running Backs Coach, where he produced a First-team All-CSFL running back in Jamario Thomas.
A 30-year old student assistant coach, Daniels will be completing his degree in Sports Management here at Bacone College in 2010. He graduated from Warner High School in 1998.
Coach Daniels served our country in the U.S. Army, where he received some of the best physical and mental training in the world. His military experience taught him self-discipline, sacrifice, work ethic, teamwork, and a commitment to excellence...the same traits we recruit and demand of our own Bacone Warriors.
He lives in Muskogee with his wife Brandi and their three kids Trey, Hanna, and Delaney.
