Warriors Fall to Eagles

BARTLESVILLE, Okla. – A strong start by Oklahoma Wesleyan propelled them past the Bacone Warriors 14-1 on Tuesday, Feb. 5.

The Eagles jumped out to a 4-0 lead in the first before adding three and seven runs in the third and fourth innings.

The Warriors only collected six hits and scored once in the fourth inning when Kyle Pietryga singled to bring home Steven Smith, making the score 7-1 in favor of OKWU.

Eric Aguillard (0-1) took the loss, allowing six runs in two innings; Pietryga finished two-for-three with an RBI.

Bacone (2-2) faces Bethany College on Friday, Feb. 8 at 2 p.m. in the beginning of a three-game stand.
