5 Warriors Selected to All-Conference Team

WACO, Texas – The Red River Athletic Conference announced the 2013-14 Red River Athletic Conference Men’s Basketball All-Conference team with five Warriors receiving honors.

Senior Christian Smith received selection to the RRAC All-Conference first team after averaging 11.9 points per game and 8.5 rebounds per game; Smith was fifth in total rebounds in the RRAC with 229.

Also receiving selection to the RRAC All-Conference first team was junior Matt Qualls; as a mid-term transfer Qualls only appeared in 19 games but statistically lead Bacone in scoring at 18.4 points per game and rebounds at 8.7 rebounds per game.

Creed Flowers received recognition on the RRAC All-Conference second team; the senior guard averaged 13.9 points per game.

Rounding out the All-Conference selections is junior guard Geo Brewer who was named to the RRAC Honorable Mention list; Brewer finished the season averaging 17.2 points per game and ranked fifth in the RRAC in points per game and total points scored.

Additionally, senior guard Roland Barbaza was named to the RRAC Champions of Character team.
