Bacone Knocks Off Jarvis Christian

MUSKOGEE, Okla. – With their ticket already punched to the Red River conference tournament the Bacone Lady Warriors made quick work of Jarvis Christian, winning 82-68 on Monday, Feb. 25.
Up 12 at halftime the Lady Warriors pushed their advantage to 24 points after a three-point bucket by Danielle Burgess made the score 77-53 with 6:54 remaining.
Bacone knocked 43 percent (33 of 76) from the field; they finished 10 for31 from three-point range while going six-for-11 at the charity stripe.
Danielle Reed finished with 19 points and seven assists; Emily Lovell added 18 and Kayla Denton finished with 13.
The Lady Warriors (10-17, 8-14) face No. 1 seed Wiley College on Friday, Mar. 1 at 6 p.m. The tournament takes placed on the campus of Southwestern Assemblies of God in Waxahachie, Texas.
